Cyclotron
Tomorrow will be a busy day as usual. I don't think anyone will show up at my lab hours because the homework assignment is due in 35 minutes. I will study for physics a great deal. I will also sign up for classes. Hopefully BIBC 102 will not be full. A week ago, I decided to take BIBC 102 (Metabolic Biochemistry) instead of BIBC 103 (Biochemical Techniques). This is fortunate, since BIBC 103 is already full.

I'm going to make a music video
If I had some sort of tracking device, I would hide it on my bike. Then, I would park my bike in a relatively busy area and I would leave without locking it up. Eventually I would notice that my bike is being moved (via said tracking device), and I would follow it. Once I have spotted the person who has "stolen" my bike, I would run up to them, sucker punch them, and then run away.
Sometimes it helps to be paranoid. For instance, in CSE21 today I turned in my homework assignment, which consisted of six single pages (it is not necessary to staple them because each page is graded by a different person). After turning in the assignment and sitting down, I started to entertain the idea that perhaps I did not actually turn in all of the six pages. So I searched through my backpack and sure enough, I had somehow not turned in page five, and I soon remedied this.

Saturday
I spent my entire Saturday grading midterms with other tutors at the instructor's house. Even though there were about ten of us, it took thirteen hours. I think it was the most continuous labor that I have ever done in my life.
It looks like midterms are coming up again next week. This is enough to motivate me to study. Insanely.

Can people be woken up soley by smell?
I wrote a Shakespearean sonnet about cyclohexane.

How did you just guess your answer?
It doesn't matter as long as your answer is correct!
I am really tired. Before sometime I should do the following:
Study OChem
Study circuits (now the electric kind instead of the graph kind)
Do probability homework
That's about it. I thought there was more. Read.

Google's map
If I were a professor introducting a topic to a class, I would make it interesting. For instance, I would say, "Today we are going to start our exploration of probability...no one knows what it is really is!"

Way to lose, Eagles
I didn't study as much OChem this weekend as I would have liked to, but I am nearly done with the math homework. I think I will attend an early section for OChem tomorrow instead of one on Wednesday because the Wednesday TA isn't very good. I won't go to the honors seminar because I dropped it two weeks ago. But that's still about five hours of class in a row. I'm considering taking BIBC 103 (Biochemical Techniques) next quarter, which would consist of two hours of lecture and eight hours of lab per week. I would also take PHYS2C and CSE100. I would get credit for tutoring so I wouldn't have to take a fourth class...plus I will probably be working on a research project. We'll see.

Don't study in bed
Last night I had a recurring dream where it turns out that I'm taking a Biology class that I somehow didn't know about so I never went to class. But somehow I knew when the midterm was and I went there only to completely blank out and not be able to answer any of the questions (as I was unaware that I was even taking the class).
I also had a dream where I was drinking milk that was way too diluted.
I made a bunch of flash cards for OChem today, but when I actually tried to study the material in the book I fell asleep for three hours. I had dreams about the reactions that I wrote on the flash cards. This is why I should not study while lying in bed. I should have gone to the library.

Q98
Amazon refunded my iClick (which I sent back three weeks ago) today, so I don't have to yell at them. Coincidentally, the bookstore had iPod Shuffles in stock today. For $20 more than what my iClick cost, my iPod Shuffle is approximately 1000 times better in every way.
This is a lot of water.

Build her a cake or something
I've been getting too much sleep for the last week. What if I didn't go to sleep tonight? What if I went to sleep RIGHT NOW?

Putting potatoes inside a burrito instead of rice and beans is just not a good idea
I am significantly closer to working on a research project.
It is apparently difficult to switch from Biology: Bioinformatics to Computer Science: Bioinformatics (but easy to switch from CS to Bio) so I might throw that idea away.
Apparently there are a total of 17 pre-majors and 26 majors doing undergraduate Bioinformatics here. This includes the students in all of the four departments that offer Bioinformatics.

Can I have a brain pill?
I am thinking of switching to Computer Science: Bioinformatics instead of Biology: Bioinformatics. What difference does this make? Instead of three additional upper division biology electives, I would take five upper division computer science electives. This is on top of the other 16 upper division courses that I would take either way. Upper division computer science classes seem to interest me more than upper division biology classes.
It is weird to simultaneously brush your teeth and chat online.

I am the destroyer of worlds. I am Harry fucking Potter.
Succeeding in OChem this quarter will be different from last quarter. The professor I had last quarter allowed us to use a "reminder sheet" on midterms. The professor I have this quarter does not. This means I have to memorize all the reactions we learn, instead of just understanding them. I shall do this with index cards. I will know every reaction EVER.
Kerns Pineapple Coconut is entirely too cool for school. I bet that stuff kills people. That's how cool it is. It gives you heart disease.
So it turns out that that bioinformatics information session exists and will take place on Wednesday. For some reason, the Biology department did not send out any e-mails about it. However, the Bioengineering department sent an e-mail about it to EVERY Bioengineering major (meaning not me). Sometimes I think I'm the only Biology: Bioinformatics major. OK, realistically, there are probably about 5 others. Maybe. I could find out very easily by emailing the advisor, but sometimes driving at night with sun glasses is...a thing to do.
