Bored
Instead of not really having much school left, I now really don't have much school left. The difference is that, excluding today, there are 2 days left. So now I'm bored.
Over the summer I plan on taking Psychology at Foothill. Hopefully I can sign up for a class at Cubberly so I can walk to it. The class meets two times a week from 6pm to 10pm, meaning no waking up early in the morning.
As my dad drove my sister and me to school, we were rear-ended by a sophomore without a license. Our car was stopped, waiting behind a car making a left turn off of Arastradero, and BAM! BAM! We didn't collide with the car in front of us because my dad immediately braked (broke? that doesn't sound right), but that caused the car behind us to rear-end us again after it had pushed us forward. I was half asleep as the collison startled the b'jesus out of me. That's one way to be woken up in the morning.
I used "us" four times in one sentence. I think I'm going to be really bored this summer.
Paley told me he nominated me for the computer science award but due to the fact that I was nominated for Biotech I couldn't receive it (or some policy that he was told that he said didn't make sense). So I did get a Biotech award, meaning a framed piece of paper with my name and "excellence in Biotechnology" on it. They should give out money. I mean come on
I made a list earlier of the projects that I had left. Unfortunately I still have things to do before school ends.
Biotech--The presentation that was supposed to be about curing cancer never took place. Instead, the final project turned into an electronic portfolio. I turned in a hard copy and hour ago.
Calculus--Presentation tomorrow.
English--I thought the Poetry Notebook (turned it in today) was the final. Apparently there is another BS project.
Compsci--Done.
Physics--Done.
I have Compsci and Physics next today. Killing time.
My advisor emailed me her recommendation of the classes that I should take in the fall quarter at UCSD.
They were something along the lines of...
1. CAT (required sixth-college-only BS course)
2. Math
3. Chem
4. My choice of many classes that should be either humanities or art (to fulfill a humanities or art requirement). Think I should take philosophy? I enroll in classes on the 20th so I have time to decide.
Go Ducks.
