Chew on this
Our dog Leo is always happy when the Fresh Direct delivery person comes by. To be honest, Leo’s pretty happy when anyone comes by, but I think he’s got a few extra wags for the Fresh Direct folks. He knows every time we order anything from them, we make sure to order these:

Those are marrow bones. Cut thick and sturdy, we boil them for about five minutes, wrap them up in foil and then store them in the freezer. When it’s treat time, he’ll gnaw on one of these anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour, depending on the size. When he’s done, there’s never any meat or flesh left anywhere on the bone. We let him keep the bone around afterwards, which he often goes back to for extra gnawing satisfaction.
It’s a healthy treat for him, keeps his teeth clean, he loves it, and it’s cheap at about .50 a treat.
