Our firm uses a few different agencies for getting technical consultants. Occasionally, they send token gifts to us, like a bag or a mouse pad, or even snacks, like these pretzels:

While I understand the value of these gifts has to be small due to regulatory reasons, I don’t think they have to look like someone picked them up from a dumpster behind a supermarket.

Of course, they do make it clear on their site: “Please note: BREAKAGE WILL OCCUR DURING SHIPPING.”

My suggestion is to replace “breakage” with “complete and utter destruction”.
