It was the end of last November, and I’m bringing Leo home from being boarded at the Wagging Tail. Trying to hail a cab at night with a dog can be a challenge, but I managed to get lucky.
Turns out the dog-friendly and chatty cabby is none other than Ahmed Ibrahim, the matchmaker cabby. I wrote about him myself.
He is quite a character. Ever since the initial media exposure back then, he’s been hustling. During the ride, he managed to show me his vast press portfolio. He’s soon to retire from being a cabby so he can devote more time to developing various projects, like a reality TV show (based in a cab, of course.)
In New York City, even the cabbies have agents.
