New York City meets Munich

I love the nightlife

January 3rd, 2005 · No Comments · Dining, Nightlife

As I mentioned a little over a month ago, the wife and I have made a resolution to explore the city’s dining and nightlife. With December being full of holiday zaniness, I managed to get a postponement on our new tradition until the new year.

So now, no excuses. The Nosuch Bar of the month will be Temple Bar, and the Nosuch Dining Experience will be Uncle Nick’s.

You should see a mini-review of each before the month is over, or you should all call me out. Fiercely, even.

February’s Dining Experience will probably be a sushi place. If you’d like to make suggestions for fun, approachable and sushi-newbie friendly sushi restaurants, let’s hear it.

I’m also pondering adding the requirement for one new “live performance experience” a month. This could be a play, stand-up comedy, a band, or the likes. There’s so much talent and creativity to be had in the city, and almost none of it is on my TiVo.
