Mistakes were made

New York City meets Munich

November 24th, 2004 · No Comments · Dining, Personal

We’ve decided to start some new traditions in the Nosuch house. After a fine meal out, both Conny View definition in a new window and I realized we simply don’t get out and explore our city from a dining and nightlife standpoint. We get out often enough, but we tend to go to our favorite spots. Since we have a lot of favorites, we can rotate them enough for variety’s sake, but we don’t really discover new places. So starting in December, we have agreed to have one “dine out” night and one “lounge out” night. The dine out night will be one night a month where we’ll pick a new, mid to upper scale restaurant that neither of us have been to. The lounge out night will be similiar, except we’ll pick one new bar or lounge for drinks.

Of course, it’s also fine fodder for the blog as well. Mostly because if I write out it here, I’ll remember it.

We haven’t picked any restaurants yet (and we’re quite open to suggestion) but our first bar will be the Temple Bar. I’ll let you know how it goes.
