In a few days I will be once again attempting to cook a truly American Thanksgiving dinner for the wife. When it comes to cooking, she provides 99 and 44/100% of the meals in this house, so I get tapped to do the holiday ones. I’ve done a turkey for Thanksgiving and duck for Christmas. The turkey came out pretty well, and the duck was exciting to say the least. Though Leo is still afraid of the oven to this very day.
Last year I was supposed to cook Thanksgiving, but the ravages of a bad flu kept me out of the kitchen. In spite of several days spent licking subway poles, I was unable to catch anything to get out of cooking this year, so feel free to share your turkey prep tips. Also welcomed are tips for traditional sidedishes.
In other words… HELP!
