New York City meets Munich

When kinky and lazy collide

October 14th, 2004 · No Comments · Kink

The “Introduction to the Scene” presentation for TES went well. It being the third time I’ve done it, I’ll confess to wee bit of coasting this go round. The first time I did it, I sweated bullets getting a good outline together, and the benefit has been a pretty solid presentation that I can use as a guide. It only gets easier each time I do.

And being a ham-bone who loves to blather on and on in front of a room full of people helps. Especially about a such a compelling topic.

While the current venue is extremely convenient for those of us who live in Hell’s Kitchen, I do miss the old Bond Street theatre. While it seems the TES budget guarantees that no space will always have chairs that only a masochist could love, Bond Street was a small theatre which made it a real pleasure as a presenter. The room just helped build energy.

If I get filthy rich, I’ll fund some sort of foundation so that TES always has a good place to work from. It’s their biggest cost and greatest effort to sustain, and if it wasn’t a worry that would free up more resources for programming and parties. If you are kinky and rich and live in the New York area, think about adding TES to your will, m’kay?

Conny View definition in a new window and I both laughed when we left the presentation realizing how lazy we’ve become with our public play. We almost never go out any more. Domestic bliss does have its perils, and we made a promise to each other to dust off and polish up the fetish wear and venture out for some good pervy fun.
