It’s anniversary week in the Nosuch household. First the wedding, now the wife’s birthday. The good news is having them occur so close to each other means it’s unlikely I forget both. It also means only one period of frantic shopping to cover two of my essential spousal obligations. And, as time goes on, I can probably blur them into one celebration, making things even easier.
And even though I gave her a nice new iron for our anniversary, I think the ironing board will still be a surprise for her birthday. We will see. It took me a while to come up with a good “matching” gift set.
I hope she doesn’t read this before she opens it. It took a shitload of wrapping paper to wrap the damn thing.
