Mistakes were made

New York City meets Munich

September 13th, 2004 · No Comments · Remembering

I started my September 11th this year much the same way I started it three years ago: sick.

Though, three years ago, it was a work day, and being sick kept me from going to work. Seeing as I work right next to where the World Trade Center was, and I would have been walking through the plaza at a little before 9 AM, being sick was actually a good thing. It meant I was home safe that fateful day, instead of right in the thick of it.

So before I complain about missing out on a beautiful weekend because of a damn cold, I’ll shut up, and be glad I am here to even have a cold, and remember all those who were not so lucky.
