Splinter Cell for the Playstation: very good. Finished it, and wept when there was no more.

Ages of Empire II Gold for the Mac: I am the last Mac gamer to actually play this, I think. I’m not a huge fan of real-time strategy games, but this one has caught my fancy. I will not play multiplayer for some time, though, due to my fragile pride. I need to cut my teeth in private. The advantage of losing to a computer player is the computer player doesn’t have a blog to gloat on.

CSI for the PC: We were hopeful this would be more stable and more satisfying than Law and Order: Dead on the Money. It is much more stable, and runs great. Sadly, the game itself is completely lame. It’s also a good case in point that professional actors do not necessarily do good voice over work. Or perhaps some of the actors on CSI just aren’t that good.
