My good woman was in need of just the right blouse to make a complete outfit for a special night out. I had a pretty good idea of where I could get the blouse, and the store was five minutes from my office.
I dashed out at lunch for a quick spot of shopping, and I was in luck. Too much luck, actually. There were two blouses that could work, and I wasn’t quite sure the right size.

on my cell phone, but I’m a geek. Instead I send her an instant message from my Sidekick PDA. That helps me resolve the size question, but not which blouse to pick. For that problem, I attach the camera to my Sidekick, and take one picture of each blouse, and email it to my wife. She gets them a moment later, and makes her decision.
I leave the store with exactly the right blouse. Gadgetry saves the day, or at least makes the day extra geeky.
