You would think people would never want to actively seek out frustration, especially sexual frustration. But if you did, you’d be underestimating just how diverse (or perverse) human sexuality can be. Next Tuesday I’ll be doing a talk for T.E.S.What is T.E.S? about “Teasing and Denial,” the art of arousing your partner again and again, over a period of time, without giving them an orgasm. Frustrating and fun!

It’s a very sexual and very psychological form of SMWhat is SM?, and it’s one of my favorites. It’s also hugely addicting, because the orgasms after a period of teasing and denial are very strong and intense. Though, it’s a pastime I don’t recommend for people with issues regarding delayed gratification. Things can get very ugly in those circumstances.

And no, just not having sex isn’t teasing and denial. It’s just the denial. People who actually get off on that are engaged in chastity play, and yeah, there’s plenty of those folks too.

There’s as many ways to enjoy sex as there are people. This is a good thing.
