Mistakes were made

New York City meets Munich

While watching the obscenely big Nosuch jumbo-tron, I noticed a faint circle in the lower left corner of the screen. It was more visible when the image on the television was white. It didn’t matter the source of the signal, the circle was always there.

Exactly where the circle around the “radar” is, on Grand Theft Auto III: Vice City.

Either I’m playing the game too much, or the brightness is up too high. In either case, I’ve caused burn-in on my television. Time to turn the brightness down when using the Playstation.

Yes, I knew there was a risk. I did read the warning that came with the TV. Life is too short not to play GTA III: Vice City on a big-ass television, burn-in be damned.

If it does that to my TV, I can only begin to imagine what it has done to my brain.
