Mistakes were made

New York City meets Munich

Not only did I completely forget my own mother’s birthday this year, putting me officially on the Bad Son list until further notice (actually, Mom was more gracious about it than her self-absorbed boy deserved), not only am I forced to delay the observation of Conny View definition in a new window’s birthday, but I completely neglected to observe that had its two year anniversary on September 12th.

I blame the wedding. This will not be the last time I blame my marriage for something. I have to get some mileage out of it, after all.

Last year I went nuts and spent hours making an elaborate contest which two people managed to solve in about 37 minutes. So learning that lesson, I’ve decided this year to win the contest, you, the reader, have to do some work.

The prize is any one item from the Nosuch store, which can be up to a whopping $26 value.

The challenge: you must send an email to the contest department containing the permalinks to your favorite three Nosuch posts in the past two years. The winner will be selected randomly from the emails which predict the top three posts, as determined from all the emails received. Basically, you need to guess what everyone else is going to say the three most popular posts are to get in the drawing. (You do not have to predict the order of the top three posts.) Entries must be received by October 25th.

The good news for you is most readers are lazy, and won’t enter, so if you actually bother to do this, your odds of winning are high. Remember to use email to send in your submissions.

Good luck.
