I don’t know how to thank all the people who made the wedding such a delightful time. But let me try.

  • I’m grateful to Conny’sWho is Conny? parents, and to my mom. Their generosity and support were indispensable to pulling this off in less than six weeks.

  • Our best men, MJDWho is MJD? and Peter, worked hard and gave so much thought to making the day a real celebration. (Yes, Conny View definition in a new window got a best man too.)

  • The night before the wedding was quite a celebration too, of a different sort, thanks to MJD.

  • Since Conny had a best man, someone had to step up to organize a bachelorette night. Our good friend Liz in New York gave Conny a night to remember. She is still wearing that damn blinking ring around the house, thank you very much.

  • Kirk and Liz from Maryland were so helpful. Liz’s “something borrowed” was really special, and Kirk’s photography was really above and beyond.

  • Jamie and Kristina and all the folks at Heartland Brewery and Chophouse did an amazing job all around. If you are thinking about doing any kind of function in Midtown, these guys will really take care of you.

  • Veronica of David Ryan Salon really took good care of Conny, and made her even more gorgeous for the special day.

  • I can’t forget to thank all the people who attended, many who traveled far and changed plans on short notice. Conny and I were really touched.

According to Ms. Manners, saying all this doesn’t count as a thank you letter, so the good lady and I have a lot more writing to do. And we couldn’t be happier about it.
