A weekend of cinema, and therefore the official Nosuch terse reviews…

Panic Room: Formulaic, but fun and Fincherific.

Lantana: Fidelity, fear, frailty and freakin’ fantastic. Foreign, of course (but Australian, but only slightly.)

Today’s post is brought to you by the letter “F” apparently. Ah, alliteration…

Speaking of cinema, I’ve been contacted by a lawyer who thinks I may have a valid trademark case I could pursue. Seems there’s a movie out called “No Such Thing,” and he feels it’s a deliberate attempt to confuse the readers of this fine website. Brand confusion, as it were. Just look at their official web page: could that be Mr.Nosuch and the lovely >Conny? There is a resemblance.

I suppose I wouldn’t worry about it, but apparently, it’s not a very good movie, which makes it all the more troubling. Plus I could use a nice juicy legal settlement right about now.

I’m sure some people think it’s silly to even consider it, but if they came out with a movie called “Kottke Thing” you bet your ass Jason would sue.
