Ah, it’s nice to see Congress being methodical as they get to the bottom of the Enron mess. Look at this chronology of events, showing the Senate Investigating Committee leaving no stone unturned.

First, the people at the top of Enron fall under scrutiny: Court seen for Enron bigwigs as Congress probes

The scope widens to include the board of directors: Enron’s Overseers Face Questions

Then the auditors have to face the music: Andersen CEO Fends Congress Queries on Enron and Congress looking at PricewaterhouseCoopers role in Enron

Now Congress, relentless in the search for truth, looks for culpability on Wall Street: Congress to Investigate Wall St.’s Ties With Enron

Ever vigilant, Congress now turns and looks in a mirror: Congress examines Congress’ role in Enron Debacle

Actually, I made that last headline up, but not the underlying story. Of course Congress won’t go that far.
