Last night Lolita was presenting “Sensory Deprivation and Sensory Control” at >T.E.S. Both >Conny and I are interested in exploring that, and Lolita is very knowledgeable and entertaining as hell (a rare combination), we knew it would be a fun night.

We weren’t disappointed. One thing that’s nice about being around people like Lolita who are really out and living a full, kinky life is the contagious sense of fun and joy they radiate. Inspiring and motivating, Lolita dove in for about ninety minutes of damn good ideas and some fun demos.

At one point, she demonstrated hoods, and had four people in various hoods: a pillowcase, two leather hoods, a latex hood. Lined up, sitting in chairs, hooded, in front of a large audience, it was like a kinky “What’s My Line?

She showed a clever way to mummify a hand with an old nylon stocking and some duct tape which I have to test out on my little escape artist. Being completely deprived the use of the hands by having them transformed into stubby, useless fists is a great way to make someone more cooperative. I also won’t have to worry about her nimble fingers getting to any of my z-grade knots.
