There are many people who mistakenly think nosuch.org is the digital dumpster of the Internet. These unimaginative folk think that “” or “” are just dandy to use when they sign up for some service. I had to configure my email server to dump anything to “noone”, “nobody” and “none” for sometime.

” is a new one, though. That’s the address that “vincent864” decided to use to sign up to Spinner.com. I know this because I got the confirmation email.

This confirmation email informs me that they don’t send the password for the account by email, for “security reasons.” But don’t worry, if you forget your password, just click a link in the confirmation email, and you’ll be taken to a form where you provide the log-in name (“vincent864”) and the email address you signed up with (““) and voila (not to be confused with “viola”), the password is emailed to the signup email address.

Time to log in to Spinner!

I decided to change vincent864’s email address from “” to ““. And, frankly, I think vincent864 could use a change in music tastes, so a switch from “Inspirational” to “Alt and Hard Rock” was in order. Just because I can.

Also so there’s a reason for him to check his profile and see his new email address.
