It’s a brand thing

Remember KPMG, the clueless consulting and accounting firm which insists on explicit permission before linking to them, so that they can protect their “brand?

Maybe they should less worried about branding and more worried about ethics. I would think crooked business practices would be a much bigger problem than a few links, but that’s just me.

Then again, these days it seems being unethical and/or ineffectual is standard operating procedure for auditing firms.
