New York City meets Munich

Mr. Not So Big

I didn’t think it possible, but it is. You really can watch the entire second season of Sex and the City in one sitting. It’s more enjoyable as group activity, especially when most of the people, or at least half, haven’t seen it before, and aren’t New Yorkers. It also helps if you serve a lot of cosmopolitans.

Two interesting things about cosmos. One is you really can’t drink that many. It’s not that booze quotient, which is admittedly high. It’s just they are too damn sweet. Not that we didn’t try, mind you. (We moved on to alternate drinks when we reached cosmo-saturation, though.) Another is that a key ingredient, cranberry juice, is pretty much impossible to get in Munich. We searched for several days, until we scored concentrated cranberry syrup. Diluted with the right amount of water, and we had a passible, cosmo-approved cranberry juice.

We started around 8PM, and when we left, the sun was starting to come up. How New York City is that?
