Mistakes were made

New York City meets Munich

Two very long days are behind me. Yesterday was a frantic dash to get the apartment in shape for Nori’s stay. I seriously underestimated the amount of work involved. When I clean, I’m a perfectionist, but I’m also undermotivated, so that means I clean very slowly, but throughly. Wednesday night I was up until 4AM, mostly cleaning and doing laundry. I hadn’t unpacked from Munich, so that had to be done as well.

A few hours of sleep, and then I’m off to work. I needed to meet Nori at the airport a little after 8PM, and I still had lots of cleaning to do. I hustled along at work, and managed to break out of work just after 3PM so I could get in a few more hours of cleaning. The next five hours were insane. I was convinced I was doomed.

Now, you might be wondering why I would be making such a huge effort. No, I don’t live like a slob, so it’s not that the place is filthy (though it had been a good three weeks, one of which I was away, since it had been really cleaned.) But it’s hugely important to me that everything is perfect.

Nori and I have a relationship that’s hard to explain. In addition to our friendship, she is also a mentor to me. She trains me to be a good submissive, and by being around her, I learn how to be a good dominant. There’s no sex involved, it doesn’t even necessarily involve SM View definition in a new window play, it involves something much more pervasive. Every moment I am with Nori, I submit to her, with every deed and word. It’s more subtle than you might think. We have normal conversations, and we can discuss anything freely. People around us might not notice the dynamic, other than me addressing her as “Ma’am”, and being exceedingly courteous to her. In private, they are more gestures, such as sitting on the floor at her feet, but none of these things are remotely sexual.

This is the first time I’ve seen her since accepting her gift of personal training. I don’t even know what to expect, and she’s wicked enough to keep me guessing mostly.

I did manage to get to the airport, late, but her plane was later, which I was counting on. The weather was horrible last night, and it just created no ends of problems. The time waiting for luggage and transportation did go by fast for two hours, since we both had a lot to catch up on. She’s involved in so many cool projects with so many amazing people, I’m just awed. I’m also grateful to be able to contribute my tiny part to any of the good works she does.

We didn’t get home until around 2AM. I helped her settle in and get freshened up. I served her something to eat, and we chatted. I drew a bath for her, and while she took a nice hot soak, I finished with little arrangements around the apartment. I still had to make a quick trip to the store to pick up a few things for the morning. I wasn’t in bed until 4AM (again.)

So, I’m hoping to catch up on some sleep, but I have no idea when. Tomorrow, the classes begin, and I need to be sharp. I don’t even want to think about disappointing Nori, or Conny View definition in a new window, for that matter, who’s most interested in me doing a good job as well. Talk about getting tag teamed…
